Ghandrung Trek

This short trek provides a good introduction into trekking whilst also providing some wonderful close up views of both the sacred mountain Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. Our destination is the beautiful and ornate village of Ghandruk, home to the Annapurna Conservation Area Project. Here you have a chance to visit the project to discover at first hand the conservation work being carried out. A refreshing three days allowing an insight into mountain life. Maximum altitude 2600 mtrs


Day 01 Drive, Kathmandu to Pokhara (7 hours), overnight hotel. 

Day 02 Drive, Pokhara / Nayapul commence trek to Ghandrung (1940 m.). 

Day 03 Ghandrung / Pothana (1900 m.) 

Day 04 Trek, Pothana / Dhampus / Phedi / drive back to Pokhara, overnight hotel. 

Day 05 Drive Pokhara / Kathmandu. 

Cost Includes

Airport transfers, hotel bookings, transport expenses in the trek, guide and Sherpa expenses, food and lodging during the trek. Sightseeing around Kathmandu and entrance charges for different places. Insurance of guide and porters. Twins sharing bed and breakfast in Kathmandu. Conservation entrance fee, TIMs card.
