Annapurna Region

  • Annapurna Base Camp Trek

Our trek commences from Nayapul, which is an hours scenic drive from Pokhara with some fabulous views of Annapurna (South) and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) en route.

  • Annapurna Circuit Trek

Commencing with an overland journey to Beshi Sahar, 130 km West of Kathmandu where we overnight, our trek follows the gorge of Marshyangdi river through lush fields of paddy, innumerable tiny streams,

  • Ghandrung Trek

This short trek provides a good introduction into trekking whilst also providing some wonderful close up views of both the sacred mountain Macchapuchre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South.

  • Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek

This trek known, also as the small Annapurna Circuit, is a very popular one in Nepal. The highest point of this trek (3200 mtrs) and for many the highlight is an early morning pilgrimage to Poon Hill

  • Mardi Himal

Mardi Himal, situated less than 15 miles from Pokhara, is the most southerly peak of the Annapurna range. It is the lowest and the least climbed or visited peak. Photographs of Mardi Himal taken in 1953 by Baisl Goodfellow first drew the attention of western climbers, and the mountain received its first ascent in 1961.

  • Pisang Peak

Pisang Peak offers good scope for exploration. The western flank of the mountain is guarded by a hanging glacier and offers considerable challenge. Because of huge rock slabs, the western end of the ridge is also difficult to climb. A German expedition made the first ascent of Pisang Peak in 1955.

  • Shigu Chuli (Fluted Peak)

The first ascent of this peak, formerly known as Fluted Peak, was made by Wilf Noyce and David Cox on its North–East Face and the top section of the East Ridge. Singu Chuli is the first summit on the long ridge down from Tarke Kang (Glacier Dome) which separates the South and West Annapurna Glaciers. Annapurna South Base Camp provides the best distant view of the mountain.

  • Tharpu Chuli (Tent Peak)

Situated in the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, the attractive Tharpu Chuli is part of the ridgeline located south from the glacier dome. It includes Singu Chuli and acts as the central divider between the semicircles of peaks enclosing the Sanctuary.
